Did you go to a youth club( all the rage years ago ), I was a member at Boston Lodge 1968/70. I then changed to Colville House were I was at first a paying member and then a voluntary member of staff. In 1975 I was appointed Assistant Leader at Kessingland Youth Club where I became the Youth Leader in 1978.
Having been able to put off settling down ( some would call qrowing up ) until my late 30's, I'd had plenty of time for hobbies. These have included Angling ( sea & freshwater ), Cubs and scouts ( 14th Low. ),swimming, banger racing, radio control model boats & computing. The model boats brought me my biggest claim to fame when a friend, Gordon Parker, and I set an endurance record and got into the Guinness Book Of Records
Now I have "settled down" my interests have changed, my main interest now are my children and they consume most of my time, what "spare" time left is spent programming or playing games on the computer.
If you have any questions or comments arising from this short biography then E-Mail me from the box below. Any question about the Lawson name for qeneolgy purposes should be sent to my father Paul.
